GORJYS

A big top, a crown, a circus owner, a mysterious beautician!

Join Efa as she jumps into the world of Palas Pier looking for answers only to find… illusion, fakery, and competition for the crown of Môrlais.

GORJYS is a punchy, hilarious look at the crazy and conflicted world of image and judgement. This brand new show from Cimera (Drudwen, Lleu) is a contemporary circus theatre piece blending acting, song, circus, physical theatre, crazy costumes and music designed to excite audiences of all kinds.

Now is your chance to see our magical show in Glynllifon Country Park, Caernarfon.

Our Work

Our work is playful, anarchic and comic.

Circus Theatre

We create original performances, weaving circus, design and narrative together for a captivating theatrical experience.

Picture taken from the production of Drudwen by Cimera. A male performer dangles a female performer by the hand from a scaffolding-like structure, as a ground-based female performer looks up with glee.

A male and a female performer wearing wide-brimmed hats sit back to back in a suitcase, with a Welsh blanket as a backdrop.

Walkabout

Our walkabout characters and street performances are striking and entertaining.

Fire and Light

We blend fire, light and acrobatics to make magic after dark.

Aerial

Our stunning aerial performances are breathtakingly beautiful.
